Of course, Samsung's Touchwiz is still there, and months went by between the time I traded the tablet away, and then got it back, so I can't be sure just how different the overall experience is from Honeycomb.
One big difference is that now I have the option of the Chrome browser, so all my bookmarks from the desktop and laptop are available to me. And thanks to the Podkicker app, I almost never need to start up iTunes anymore. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. I rooted and loaded CM7 on my HTC Hero this summer, then realized I should have done it long ago. Really opened up the phone. Android is so much more flexible than iOS. While the iPhone is a beautiful device, very sleek and still the leader in graphical smoothness, it's way over priced and infuriating with the memory scam (Apple charging as much as $100 for just 16Gb of RAM).
Apple fans say "oh, but it's so BEAUTIFUL!" Yes, it is... and fragile. That's why over 80% of iPhone users have them wrapped in silicone. Kind of defeats the beauty thing, doesn't it? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavillion dv5t OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 CPU Intel Core2 Duo T9400 2.53GHz Motherboard Intel Memory 4Gb Graphics Card nVidia GeForce 9600M GT 512Mb Sound Card IDT Screen Resolution 1280x800x80 Mouse Microsoft 4000 Hard Drives Seagate Momentus XT 500Gb
