I got my former tablet back....no more Honeycomb!
It got an update to ICS...4.04. It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, wifi 16GB version.
Of course, Samsung's Touchwiz is still there, and months went by between the time I traded the tablet away, and then got it back, so I can't be sure just how different the overall experience is from Honeycomb.
One big difference is that now I have the option of the Chrome browser, so all my bookmarks from the desktop and laptop are available to me. And thanks to the Podkicker app, I almost never need to start up iTunes anymore.:)
I'm still yet to root my G3 - but I can find enough things to amuse me as is
I quite like Jelly bean, but some of the settings have been moved to god knows where
I rooted and loaded CM7 on my HTC Hero this summer, then realized I should have done it long ago. Really opened up the phone. Android is so much more flexible than iOS. While the iPhone is a beautiful device, very sleek and still the leader in graphical smoothness, it's way over priced and infuriating with the memory scam (Apple charging as much as $100 for just 16Gb of RAM).
Apple fans say "oh, but it's so BEAUTIFUL!" Yes, it is... and fragile. That's why over 80% of iPhone users have them wrapped in silicone. Kind of defeats the beauty thing, doesn't it?
Has any one every rooted a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2
