Android in Virtual box – some questions

I managed to install Android in Virtual Box. But now I am running into some snags.

1. Some Apps come in portrait mode and I do not know how to switch them to landscape mode

2. The browsers have some (looks like Japanese or Chinese) advertisement on the bottom. Every time that changes (and it changes quickly), I lose the browser. Is there some way to block those ads.

3. I wanted to access a webpage but got the message that I needed some Java script

But when I wanted to download it, I got this message

How can I download the requested service.

Any help to resolve the above would be appreciated.

PS: Sorry for the bolding, but I was afraid the text would get lost between all the pictures.
