Suppper, the evening meal, at my house...

WayYY back in time, the evening meal was called "supper"... not Dinner.

Right now I'm frying potatoes cut in half, then sliced in 3/16 widths of slices.

The ham has been sliced and diced... bought from Costco two days ago (a ham with no bone). Most of it will go to sandwishes, to my 8-to-5 work day. The reminder will go to stir-fryds, in my own opinion.

Soy and Processed food will have a long way to go, with me...

Real meat always wins over processed meat.

When I was a kid, living in France, there were traditionally 4 meals per day.

There was breakfast, lunch, dinner, and supper.
Supper came around 8PM. Supper usually lasted a couple of hours. Then it was bed-time.

No two courses were ever put on the same plate.
And, of course, we always had a bottle of Vin du Table available.
(Table Wine; generic, not expensive, but very good nonetheless; only a Franc or two at the time or about 25 cents)

I was about 5 years old and always got angry when they watered down my wine! Not so much, I think, because it was watered down, but because I wasn't being treated equally. After all, the adults didn't water down their wine!!
Lord! Did we eat well back then... I miss those days...

My grandmother spent her entire day in the kitchen, it seemed.
If she wasn't cooking, she was cleaning. Ha! What a life...

I like your schedule... I would insert tea where your coffee is. Except for whiskey on your last coffee break...:)

Ah, the final repast of the day--or morning, depending on how late I'm working!
