Hard Drive Storage Case

I would simply buy some office stacking things for holding papers and what not and putting the drives on that. Kinda like an inbox paper tray. I just usually leave my drives sitting around, not even in static bags and I haven't really had any issues with any of them.

Well if he goes to Staples or some other office supply store and buys either a plastic or pine wood storage rack can I take the oak rack he makes? That would certainly go good with the computer desk here.

Actually the vertical storage rack idea has merit there especially if you added in pull out drive trays. You could still have a small part of the drive extending out while keeping everything balanced for a slight shift in an inward direction or simply leaned towards the back of rack. That would help to prevent the rack from tipping forward on you when going to pull a drive out.
