I just bought this one !!!

Do you try to keep up with the changing technology? Do you have to run out and get the newest phone, pc, etc.. because it's better than the one you just got? Discuss here.

My phone is a work phone, so I use whatever they give me (lucky there).

And my PC is almost 2 years old and is still kicking, so while I enjoy talking Sandy Bridge I'm not upgrading. I built the computer when the Core i3/i5/i7 were just coming out and were quite expensive. I instead went with the previous LGA 775 components and built a great box and saved some cash. My Q9550 chip was $209 at the time, where the core i7 was about $600. And my friends who bough i7's at the time, now all want a Sandy Bridge CPU today. I'll almost always buy something when it's not the latest and greatest, but rather 1 generation back. It just works for me.

And I feel great about having a wandering eye as a kid because it impacted my ability to see 3D movies and such. So, I don't need a 3D TV because i flat out cannot see it properly

And the Best Buy BuyBack program seems like the dumbest thing you could possibly do. Pay more up front to get at max 50% back in a very short time that you can use to buy even more. What's wrong with people today.

The only thing I care about is updating my computer components every few years.
A fast CPU, hard drive and video card..........and I'm happy.

Would love to update my computer, which is quite old by today's standards. It is a Q6600 quad core and has served me well. I can afford to wait a bit longer, but not afford to update.
When it comes to phones, i leave all the fancy stuff to the younger folk.
I get an occasional update when my son gets a new phone, as he gives me his old one, providing it is not too worn out.

Bought new computer at Best Buy and it was already set up?
Hello All, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. You may have to be patient with me as I know next to nothing about computers. Two years ago (when I was completely and totally ignorant to technology) I bought a new laptop at Best Buy. This computer came in a sealed box from beneath the...

Bought a HAF-932
Replaced my old case with a new one last night. Had a cube server case and moved everything over to my new Cooler Master HAF-932. Also bought a Corsair H60 Hydro Cooler, which is what prompted me to buy the new case since it would have been a pain to mount the H60 into the cube. Here is the...

Bought and waiting
Good Day, I have purchased the windows seven upgrade disk and was instructed to wait until the release before the disk would be sent, and... I was also told that no money would be removed from my account until the upgrade disk was on it's way, which did not seem to hold true being the money has...
