FWIW: I don't rep easily unless the poster really gives what I would judge is good advice to solve a problem.

I NEVER rep anyone who has "please rep me" in their sig.

    YMMV:

My current power is 580, but, like everyone else, what I can give is limited to 45. I think that is fair, especially when you consider someone like Shawn (Brink) or John (z3r010), who both have powers in excess of 2,000 can instantly make you a Guru just by repping you once on your only post. By limiting this power, it means that users have to work their way up the ranks, and it makes it fairer for everyone. Of course, these limits can be changed should John decide to do so, but I think that they should stay as they are.

I got 100 here. I want to ask,if the admins rep someone, their rep power(points) is 45,so the member will get +45 points?

The Admins can give you what they want. == Your Rep Power is 100 but there is a cap so the most you can give is 45. If I helped you and you Reped me, I would get 45. What Rep power I have would not matter.
