Help me out? I plan to write an article about testing code. Personally, I find it frustrating when I stumble into code that was obviously never tested.
So, with the intent of adding a litle humor, I am looking for ideas as to why developers would not want to test their code.
Just to get you thinking, I'll seed the list...
- I get paid the same whether I test the code or not.
- I have YOU to test it for me. I'll fix it in the next release.
- The natural order of the universe is entropy. Broken code is part of nature. Get used to it.
- I'm having a bad day, why shouldn't you?
Later, I'll create a survey to learn the most popular responses from all the ideas. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
