I know what you mean Kodi. My old dog is now about 14. He's only a little dog but he's showing signs of old age more every day. I dread him going. Pity they can't live as long as us.
By the mid-1940’s, tall, black-clad, grey-haired, Hoppy & his faithful horse Topper became household names in more than 50 big screen westerns for movie producer Harry Sherman. From 1949 - 1952 William adapted Hoppy to the small screen with great success.
Hopalong Cassidy.
Cowboy character created in 1904 by Clarence E. Mulford in 28 novels.
An old movie serial from the 1940's and TV show of the 1950's.
Played by the actor William Boyd. This is where I learned about Hoppy.
Competition to the Lone Ranger and Roy Rogers at the time.
My favorite cowboy at that time.
They were showing reruns on Saturday morning when I saw them 1958-63.
According to my parents I started watching Hoppy when I was 2 years old.
1958.

I was getting tons of SPAM way back when I used "Hotmail". I decided to create a whole new account using a name that is not common. I grabbed a Celtic Music CD from a band called Clannad...one of the songs had dobhar in then title...I liked it and started using it...the rest is history. On some other forums others have started calling me dobby, short for dobhar.
