    My "New" Laptop

I just have to tell you about the deal I got on my laptop. I wanted something that I could use once in a while. I didn't want to spend a lot on it. That is pretty hard to do though. == I Googled "Cheap Laptops". One of the links at the top of the page caught my eye and I clicked on it. It turns out it was an Ebay link. A computer company that had over 50,000 sales on Ebay. This seemed pretty reputable so I started checking out what they had. I saw this auction with 8 minutes left so I checked out the laptop. It was refurbished with a 14 inch screen, one gig of ram, a Pentium 4, 1.6 ghtz processor and Windows XP. Not too bad a system. I went back to the auction and the high bid with five minutes left was, are you ready, $109. I thought that I would just bid one time and see what would happen. I put in $130 and bingo I was high bidder at $122. That is the way it ended and I have my laptop. It works really good and they even sent me a Windows XP disk. The laptop has the product key sticker on it. Everything is in good shape. I am quite pleased with it and for the price, you can't beat it.

Congratulations Jim. That was a lucky catch. Could have been a bummer, but you were lucky.

This review is from March 2003, so I would say it's from around end of 2002 / beginning of 2003.
