When alcohol loses its charm...
Tea is for wussies
I like to do my bit for fairtrade
It's what the Good Lord invented cream for
I bought this forsaken Cappuccino machine, and by Jiminy, I am going to get my money's worth...
I make a mean Mocha
The chicks all love my Latte
It makes my inner eye open, when all else fails
Without coffee, all computers would do is print "Hello World"

I drink coffee because, paired with my morning cigarrette, is as good as my day is going to get.

...because I'm a coffee achiever!

Quote:
A cup of coffee in the morning and I get the paper
I check the headlines and decide that I am bored
I check my email and decide to answer later
Another cup of coffee and I drag myself to work

My life is grounded in a firm routine
Of coffee sleep and work
I am not boring, I just stick to what I know

I'm sitting there at work and I realized I forgot to wake up
Can't be productive when I'm dreaming 'bout a sheep
I go upstairs and get myself another cup of coffee
I get downstairs and then I spill it on the floor

My life is grounded in a firm routine
Of coffee sleep and work
I am not boring, I just stick to what I know

Rockabye baby, on the tree top
Lunch hour's over, and I can't stay up
I wanna drink coffee, but that's a mistake
I best switch to decaf or I'll stay awake

My life is grounded in a firm routine
Of coffee sleep and work
I am not boring, I just stick to what I know

Hmmmm.........Coffee is a way of life in South India. It is always coffee after breakfast and evening snacks and a welcome-drink when guests arrive. South Indians will feel like a fish out of water without coffee, and that coffee will always be the thick brew plus hot milk and never the black coffee.

At home, I always make my brew with the Italian moka pot, the poor man's/woman's espresso coffee maker - Moka Pot, Moka Pot Instructions, Stovetop Espresso Maker Instructions, How To Use A Moka Pot, Espresso Coffee

Moka pots are not easily available in India and unknown. (They use a traditional Coffee filter to make the brew.) What I have at home is a two-cup moka pot and now a four-cup is on my shopping list here in U.S.A.

I'm addicted to coffee! 23 years in the Navy and 16 years driving a 18 wheeler. Kept me awake on those long hauls across the states.

Because it symbolizes civilization, having best grown in high mountain reaches, gathered by individuals, carried in sacks by pack animals, traded/sold, gathered, stacked, stored, cleaned (sometimes), roasted over fire (the greatest step forward for mankind), cooled, resacked, labeled with the proud emblem of the owner/agent of commerce, shipped, distributed resold, resold, resold, repacked in ever smaller containters for ever higher markups, until they appear in my local store on online catalog in every imaginable combination of natural acidity or controlled roasting, or the raw bean itself, for roasting it yourself at home, and the aromatic oils fill the air, where you can tune out the ordinary moments you are about to face during the day and try to transcendentally attune to the world.
