Recently, I have been playing Minecraft. For those of you who don't know, Minecraft is... well the best way to describe it is Lego meets Resident Evil.

Basically, you are dumped in an infinite world, you gather resources and you build, well whatever you want. With enough time and effort, anything is possible. On the newer version, Survival, you also have to watch out for monsters who come out after dark and try and eat you, as well as exploding monsters who given a chance will destroy your loving creations.

I'm really not doing it justice, it is an amazing game, it's just hard to describe it as one.

Now I love Minecraft, but after watching these video's, it makes you wonder....

By the way, just to give you a sense of size, the scale of the construction is 1:1 to the original "plans" from the series, the avatar of the players character is just under 2 meters high, and the whole thing is built using 1 meter x1 meter blocks

You know you play too much StarCraft when:

You ask your mother to borrow some minerals for lunch.

The cost of a Marine: 50 Minerals. The cost of a Zealot, 100 Minerals. Watching them beat the shit out of a Zergling? Priceless. For everything else, there's Vespane Gas.
