any objection to "stick" the today thread? it' can be a chore digging it up, after a long day. idk, it's just a thought.

Today I've had a mixed day

Major success is remotely performing a system restore to remove an IE8 install on XP home system, which refused to work with the users webmail
Took two restores to get back to where it needed to be but at least I got there Teamviewer to the rescue.

Second one was a sort of success - I needed to get some info from Outlook for a meeting so open Outlook 2007 click on calendar and thump - total outlook lockup. Tried a few things like scanpst.exe and nothing helped. so fired up outlook 2010 no problem got info and of to meeting confused

Got back from meeting and did a diagnostics, a repair and a full uninstall of office 2007 and complete re-install - no change.

I then closed the archive folder and hey presto everything is working - should have done this a few hours ago

Oh well, off to try and repair archive.pst

Saw that now. Tech conversation at it's highest level!

Today: A fantastic, amazing, fabulous and BEAUTIFUL day! All day together with my wife. Beach, lunch in Safari Park at Zoo watching giraffes and zeebras, afternoon jazz in a small club, candlelight dinner in our favorite restaurant. Like a mini holiday, this time in and around our own hometown.

It's midnight here, came home half an hour ago . Wife promised I can have 20 minutes to check SF, have to hurry only 15 minutes left.

Life is quite amazing, isn't it?

Thanks Nigel, I haven't been that active in the help forums for a while, so it took longer than it should have.
