Post your zombie survival updates here!

The world has been devastated by a zombie outbreak. You are among the few survivors left.

Before we start, I just want to set down a few rules for this game. Basically, there are no rules of what you can and can't do in the zombie infested world we're gonna hopefully make except that you're not Superman so don't try and go all Rambo and say that you've cured the outbreak and killed all zombies, you're just an average Joe telling your story.

When you wanna "play", just put up a post about what you've been doing to survive since you last posted and any other interesting news you have. Try and tell it like it's happened though, not as if you are doing it, imagine that you're on Seven Forums during an outbreak and you're just letting all your buddies know how you're doing. Anyone can play so long as the keep the spirit of the game going, and hopefully has a story forming along.

    So, LET'S BEGIN!

Are there any survivors out there? Are we the only ones left? If anyone sees this please respond. My name is Zack. I'm holed up in a supermarket with my girlfriend in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I'm writing this on a laptop with built-in Internet connection, so as long as there is power and the Internet keeps working, and I'm alive, I'll keep you posted. We've got plenty of food here that can last us a while, but we only got a single handgun with 6 bullets left in the clip. If the zombies get through the barricade, we're done for. Fortunately I've seen none of them ever since we arrived here a day ago.

But our luck won't last long, I think. Sooner or later they would find out we are here. We'll have to make a run for it and move out of the city. If anyone is reading this, please let us know. It'd be nice to know we're not the only ones left in this world and give us something to hope for.

I'm also a survivor. Soon after the outbreak I gathered as much food, weapons, and ammunition I could fit into my car and drove to Lake Mojave, about an hour outside of Las Vegas. I am currently living on a house boat, just getting by day to day. Once a week I go ashore to make a run for food and other supplies. Luckily the house boat I'm on has a propane generator, I've been able to take tanks of propane from a town 20 miles down the road. I'm unsure as to what I will do when the town's supply is exhausted. I will update when I can, assuming my broadband card can still connect to what is left of the internet.

Day three, foods running out. Needed medication, but the local pharmacies have already been raided. The supermarkets have also been raided and are too dangerous. I risked a drive to find supplies this morning but literally ran into several zombies. I didn't think they followed me, but since my return, I've been hearing noises outside.

I'm off to do another sweep. Brb.

    Survival diary...

    Day 3
I've been locked in my house for 3 days now...

Food is running low and there's a constant shuffling from both the front and back door. All exits and windows are boarded up and there's no way in, or out for that matter. There's a police station just down the end of the street but it's a good 600 yards and I'm no athlete.

My cricket bat has dried blood on it and the stale smell is slowly filling the house. I need to get out, get to the police station, get more food and weapons. There are no broadcasts from any survivors but I keep the radio on in the hope that I hear at least 1 voice.

Tomorrow I may just bite the bullet and make a dash for the station, they're slow enough so it should be a problem.

    Day 4
Made a dash for the police station in the early hours as there were less shufflers about. Thankfully the doors were unlocked but unfortunately there's no weapons. The good news is the power is still on and there was some food remaining in the fridge. The milk was only just in date but to be honest I drank it so quick I don't think I'd have noticed if it was off.

Can't face going back to the house now, there's more room here and the station seems to be of no interest due to the distinct lack of death about the place.

I found a CB radio in a jacket pocket that was hanging in the shower room, batteries are good, will try to find contact from the roof as there'll be better coverage up there.

    SUCCESS!!

I managed to get through to another survivor who lives on the other side of town and have advised him to gather up as many supplies as possible and try to make it here to the secure station.

6 hours have passed and I fear the worst...

I've not heard from Harry and I fear that he may have become the latest victim of the walking dead.

I will hold out here for a few days and try to figure out what my next course of action will be...

I'm still alive. I had to leave the University halls of residence quickly, as so many people in small areas, the infestation spread quickly. Couldn't get through the city centre, so had to take the back roads. Saw a few zombies along the way even on the back roads.

Currently at my Mum's house. She's out of the country with my step dad, so got the house to myself. Can't stay here long though as they're all terraced houses, so all houses are close together, so not gonna risk anything.

I have a friend who lives in the countryside in a pub. Can imagine it's pretty safe there, but no way of getting in contact with him. It's a good 40 minutes away too, not sure I'll make it all the way with the petrol I have. Gonna give it a try though, will take what little food is in the house still and hope for the best.

    I'm still alive.
At first sign of the zombies I unloaded my gun locker and loaded everything up and grabbed as much food and gear I could and threw it in the truck and I headed for the country. Hoping the million cows in the fields would be more interest than me. I took out quite a few as I drove by and saved my neighbor who was fighting them off with his shotgun. We're now heading for the country and I hope I have enough gas to make it and whole up for who knows how long. I'm currently posting this from my cell phone and I hope the towers stay up as it's my only way to see if the world is getting better or worse. Check back here later...

    Survival diary...

    Day 4
Well, it's 8:30 am and I finally heard from Harry who has gone to the coutry, a pub of all places. Well, at least he can have a pint while staying alive...I had to laugh. I've decided to head for the open coutryside too. I have been getting quiet radio chatter over the last 3 hours that a lot of survivors are heading that way so hopefully I'll be able to meet up with them.

I feel like I haven't slept for days, the noises outside are getting louder, seems my hiding place isn't up to much anymore. I've stripped the gym and taken a good few metal rods from the weight machines, they should come in handy for bashing a few heads.

Ok, enough talk, time to head out. There's a patrol car outside but I can already see that the tires are flat so it looks like I'm walking for now. I'll have to stick to the trees and just move slowly untill I can find transport, if not then It'll be a long journey but I've gotten this far...

    Day 5
We made it out to the country and took quite a few zombies with us in the process. We holed up in one of my former friends ranch houses on the second floor. We boarded up the first floor windows and doors and moved the food we found and as many bottles of water as we could and then blocked off the stairway. We're pretty well armed as my friend, who used to live here had a good stock of guns and ammo.(The zombies got him) I now just watch the road and the surrounding fields for any movement or activity with my 30.06 with my hunting scope to make sure we're alone. So far it's peaceful. If anyone else it out there come join us. We're hoping to get more survivors here and start anti-zombie sweeps to start taking back what is ours. So far, it's just the two of us and I fear the world is so far lost...
