    Reply to Sender

Have no idea where to really post this.
I have received a PM from a user. When I click on 'Reply to Sender', I am taken to a new window that say 'conversation between ______ and _______' and then shows the message, but there is no reply box or button for replying, only a report button.

    Hello Gill,

That is only because you still have a "New Member" status. Once you are no longer a "New Member" after a short period and certain amount of posts, you will see a reply box. :)

Na, it's just a security measure to help keep spammers from bugging members. :)

Edit - never mind then. lol

Hmm, I think you're referring to a Visitor Message (VM) not a PM.

I can get a reply box when I click on "Reply to Sender" on my own profile page, if a user sent me a VM.

If for instance, I click on "Reply to Sender" on your profile page (not my own) to see your VM from sorethumbs, I only get the that VM with no way to reply to it like you mention.

You can always just click on the users profile (just click on his avatar there on your profile page), in this instance - sorethumbs, and write your reply on his profile page as a VM. Not required to use "Reply to Sender" link.

    No dumb questions here.

Most of us have had trouble finding something on the site at one time or another.

    Welcome to the forum.
