Hi Guy, can you tell us anything about this book? Or are you just passing a link on? Ta
Well I checked it out myself, but this is from the horse mouth, the guy who wrote it Quote: I’m delighted to announce that my 170 page Windows 7 Power Users Guide is now completely FREE to download and own as an eBook. The book is for people of all technical ability from complete novices to IT Pros.
The book contains 16 chapters and is a guide on how to get the very best out of Windows 7 from installation to configuration and advanced operations. It includes step-by-step guides, screenshots and diagrams on every page, quick tips throughout the book and is presented in full colour.
From the author of Troubleshooting Windows 7 Inside Out from Microsoft Press… A book for people who use Windows 7 at home or at work and know it can do more for them, but who don’t know how. The Windows 7 Power Users Guide contains helpful how-to’s, full colour pictures and quick tips to guide you through everything from using the Start Menu and Taskbar to backing up your documents and identifying and fixing problems I downloaded it, very good, obviously quite handy when it came out late 2009, but great book all the same, thanks

It says Quote: This guide is for non-technical, casual, users of Windows Doesn't sound like a Power Users Guide to me, though I can't say for sure yet as I just started looking at it.
It's a pdf, not an eBook and the index is not clickable so it's hard to find anything in it. Good for beginners I think. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Precision 370 OS Windows 7 Pro X64 CPU Intel Pentium 4 Dual LP 3.4Ghz Memory 4GB DDR PC2-5200 ECC Graphics Card NVIDIA Quadro FX 3400/4400 Sound Card SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio Monitor(s) Displays HP 22" w2207 LCD Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 Hard Drives 300GB Maxtor 6L300RD PATA
