This is a great forum... very well put together and the people here are very knowledgeable and helpful... I have looked around on the site for an answer to this but didn't notice any mention of it...

I am just curious as to how the site is funded as there appears to be no advertising on it whatsoever... is it funded by other ventures that Design Media has or by donations or how? and also it is it maintained by paid individuals or volunteers?

We are all volunteers, except John, who I assume is making money off of the advertisements, which pays for the upkeep of the site, most of us wandered in one day looking for help, and just never left.
