Bringing back old posts from the dead

Do you think that if I brought back an old post of mine and, realizing that it was solved, the moderators would mind much if I reported it as solved? I've some really old posts too

However old the Thread still report as solved as they will appear in Google Search and if it is marked solved then it will help others

And what about re-posting on those old threads? I've come a long way since I've started here at these forums and still have a long way to go. Some of the things I've said just don't make sense, and I'd like to clear it up

Depends on what you are going to re-post

If it is to say how you got it fixed then yes you can

    Hello DustSailor,

That would be great to do. If the solution was not posted in the old thread already, then it would also be great to post what the solution was in the old thread as well. :)

Now, I don't think people bother much with "solving" chillout room threads, am I right?

Usually the Chillout room isn't for solving problems though so that could be why, it's just for, chilling out so to speak.
