I noted on the drive that it tested good back in April 2001. I plugged it in over the weekend and it passed with flying colors.
Now that is impressive ... and I must say, your first hard drive was bigger than my first hard drive ... mine was 20 MB.

The 1.0 TB drive I just bought has 931 GB of formatted free space!

(And Aliens vs. Predator just ate up about 15 GB worth...)

Oh boy. I have worked with computers for quite some time of my 17 years of life. My first computer was given to me at an early age, and old Compaq Tower made in 1998. It was given to me when I was 8, had an 8GB hard drive with Windows 98 on it. About a few months ago it's remains were sent to an electronic waste processing plant due to severe water damage, I kept the disk of it's hard drive though. hangs on the wall of my room.

I have an Amiga 3000T from 1994 that still works great.

I just realized that it looks a little like my new HAF-932 case,

That HAF looks like a really nice case.

Yeah, I did some cleaning and reorganizing the other day, and I found my Pentium 120 motherboard with CPU, Sound Blaster AWE 32, and Diamond Stealth and Monster 3D cards (they were all part of the same system at the time). I think I'm going to keep them as souvenirs. I'm not sure if they work, though.
