    How to hide on-line status in these forums ?


    I've searched high and low and I'm either blind or... How do I set my account to not reflect my on-line status ?

    Hello Littlemutt,

    You can do so my checking the Use Invisible Mode in Edit Options in your User CP. :)

    Why are you worried about your on-line status being visable?

    Looks like that has been removed for members then, and you will not be able to hide on your own. I'll change it manually for you.

    UPDATE:
    The "Use Invisible Mode" option is only available for members with Pro badges and above.

    I don't know what happened, but I was 'invisible' for awhile, now I'm showing on-line again. I have cleared all cookies, and login info...

Is there a method/hack or a 3rd-party program that allows the user to hide the taskbar by dragging its top border line downwards, after un-locking the taskbar? I remember I could do that under Win9x.
Currently I am sitting in front of a Win7 (Home) where the WinExplorer shows at the bottom an additional bar for each fodler/file. Its NOt the status bar but a second one. How do I disable/hide it permanently ? Peter
