Seven Forums slow today???

Is anyone else finding the site slow today? Pages are taking much longer than usual to load for me, though other websites are loading/navigating just fine...

Everything is fine here. Did you try clearing you cache?

Have cleared cache and cookies a couple of times and triple checked which scripts I've blocked- which are no different than usual.

DeviantArt is usually much slower for me than Seven Forums though today it's the other way round. Some pages are taking 10 seconds or more to fully load.

Hello Oaken,

Everything seems fine on my end as well. You might try temporarily using the Google Public DNS servers as a test to see if it may be something related to your ISP's DNS servers.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Hi Brink, thought about that as I logged off earlier and so ran a DNS benchmark. The results showed the current DNS is "Fastest and Nearest", with Google Public DNS-2 being -2.3% by comparison.

Page loading is still slow and only for Seven Forums- something I've not encountered before?

I'll log off and switch over to Google DNS anyway and see if there is a difference...

Thanks bud, will give them a go.

Tried switching to Google DNS and no change, and it's only this site which is slow- weird?

Oaken,

If you had not already, try a different browser, or use Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) (Start Menu - All Programs - Accessories -System Tools) to see if it still does it. Maybe a add-on causing the delay??
