    What's the Anti-Matter?

It has been said that when the Universe was created at the Big Bang, equal amounts of matter and anti-matter were created. Ultimately, matter won the survival contest and, as a result, here we are.

Or are we? Are we sure that what we call matter isn't actually anti-matter and vice-versa?

    It's one plausible theory.

I could also say that I and all other lifeforms living on this plane of existence are actually some sort of ghosts living in some sort of "Afterlife", or "Beforelife", and when you die is when you enter into real existence.

I'm sure if there is an equal Anti-matter universe out there in juxtaposition to us, then to them their Anti-matter universe is actually Matter to them, and our Universe is based on Anti-matter.

Reminds me of a Star Trek Voyager episode where a rupture opened up to a universe of photonic based lifeforms that thought they were the real physical lifeforms in our sense of life, and not just holograms.

All in ones perspective I guess. Do I take the Blue Pill, or the Red one?

Kinda like Australians are "upside down" when looking at a world globe.

Which ever one wakes you up. I suppose films like The Matrix and Inception try to put these sort of theories out there.

Always the red pill Airbot, always the red pill

An interesting topic. Reminds me very much of the argument for extra-terrestrial life-forms : look close to home, for example the sea floor many kilometres deep where you find life-forms such as tube worms able to survive at incredible pressure and zero sunlight. So much for requiring sunlight to sustain life. Got to love these extremophiles.
