70s' vision of the 21st century? Pretty much looks like it.
While I would love to live in that kind of environment, I doubt this comes to life because, even if they don't want money anymore, this'll be impossible to remove. Also, complety "destroying" current cities to reamke totally new cities like their ideal would be like... you can finish this sentence.

so these guys want to 'remove' us from the outside world? is that how Logan's Run started? they kill everyone on their 21th birthday. most of us would be killed off by now....

i was thinking more of 1984 or Fahrenheit 451 kinda of feel (without the grim society, of course....) which are all dystopian (or utopian, depends on your point of view of what a society should be and how it should act) in my eyes...
every will have their own in home moderator like the Space Travesty robot thing.
Scenario, 2031, Operation 'Fishbowl' is a sucess, except for one man....
HAL: "Good morning, Dave."
dave: "wtf!?"
HAL: "swearing is not permitted Dave, you know this."
dave: "It's 5:30 in the morning, stfu!"
HAL: "Time to brush your teeth, Dave."
dave: "meeh! i don't wanna get up, go away."
HAL: "Time to get up, Dave."
dave: "NOooo"
HAL: "GET UP DAVE!"
dave: "......no"
HAL:".....Fine, Dave. Just fine."
