Normally 4h in summertime 1h
It's like "how much do you drink/smoke?" I find I have a tendency to understimate.
I put 4+, but if I rally think about it, it's regularly more.
Usually I'm online for at least an hour before I go to work at 8am. I return at 6pm and switch on my computer before I take my jacket off. I'll be online 'til at least midnight.
At weekends I sleep later but usually I'm on for about 12 hours a day.
So over a week I'm online for about two and a half days plus.
For a guy who doesn't work in computing or even use a computer at work, that's getting to look a bit pathologigical
i've only got a small part-time job, and don't watch tv, so i have to do something with my time. as i like to (or have to) keep my mind active, i sit in front of one of my computers - i suppose between 8 and 12 hours for me, generally speaking.
i also suppose that it has seasonal variations - this time of the year there is more to do outside, so my usage is more like 8.
lately i haven't been spending so much time in front of the keyboard - i'm trying to get a bit more exercise - pushing a mouse around doesn't burn off enough calories!
but even at exercise, i've still got a smartphone tracking my walks, or playing audiobooks - or both! - so i guess you have to add those hours onto the total, as i'm still making use of and interacting with digital technology.
Hard to say.
When I working on a project I can barely find 15 minutes in a day to check my email.
When I'm doing CAD, contracts, and accounting I'm in for the day and often into the night.
I'm either outside or inside! How do you average that? 4 hours?
