I set up my computer a long time ago with a stupid username, and I wanna know how to change it. I can change my logon username, but not the actual username (COMPUTERNAME/Username) or the user directory (C:/Users/USERNAME).
how can i change my username coz i went't to user accounts and changed my account name
but in task manager in the user name it has a different name how can i change this
also in the process it has my old user name

I need to change my username because my dog died and I am so upset that I was going to commit myself. I had a golden retreiver and so I used golden for 5 years before I got her and 9 years afterward and now it is to hard for me to use the name anymore.
