Recompilation of Vista or 7 Disk

I just install from a USB drive and make a seperate folder with all the setup files for programs I know I'll want on there so you could do that if you want.

I made a bootable Windows 7 flash drive and made another folder separate from the W7 installation on the drive with all of the setup files for apps I will want on there, get it? Then you just install them after the W7 install.

I don't mean to sound rude, but honestly what's the point of that?

So that, when you reinstall, (which you probably will be once or twice since it is a beta) all the programs you want to have on the system are easily installed because all of the setup files are right there, you don't have to go download them and its easier than remembering which programs you normally have on your PC after every install. I just think it makes it easier :)

The app installs are not slipstreamed, but they are *readily* available - no media swapping needed to get them all installed.

It is basically an intermediary between a vanilla W7 install and manually re-installing / installation of all apps and a slipstreamed W7 *with* apps install.

But, here is the really really *really* good part - the W7 SDK has been out for a couple of days now as well....

So, I suspect nuhi is probably already hard at work on developing 7lite as we speak....

Oh I understand. I already have all my installation exe's and stuff in a folder ready to install from my 1TB Drive.

What I want to know is how preload stuff onto DVDs, I'm messing around with Vista's installation with vLite and I don't see how to preload programs.

I don't want an image of my OS with Programs Installed. I want a DVD that installs the OS and the Software Preloaded such as one that you get from your OEM that comes with proprietary software.
