One thing to be thankful for, it's not a deadly one or you wouldn't be able to show us. Nasty though so I hope it heals soon.

At least it's pretty
I'm baby sitting my nephew today while my sister and husband move.
He's 9 months now and I'm wondering where the cute went...
I have a tentative working theory that baby 'cuteness' diminishes in direct proportion with noise volume.
This noise volume, such as screaming, is converted to energy, re-arranged in the cosmos and then fed back to the infant. However during the conversion process, the active ingredient - cuteness - is stripped of all it's positive properties leaving the baby with a lower 'cute' factor than before.
It's not all bad though, in some cases, during 'quiet time' - some of the stray and unrefined 'cute' that floats around us can be re-absorbed to a certain degree to delay the inevitable total loss of cute.
*A side theory of what happens to 'cute' is that when removed from a baby, it is refined and adapted for use later in life. ie Those rare glances at acquaintances where for a brief moment you can see a persons real beauty, 'Ugly duckling' transformations and beer goggles.
** This also suggests that cuteness is actually finite.
" They" say the worlds biggest lie is "oh what a beautiful baby".
I cant print the worlds second biggest lie.
Today "The Howling Wolves" are celebrating our 44th Wedding Anniversary!
Quite an accomplishment in today's environment.
My hat goes off to my sweetie for putting up with me.
She is the "Wind Beneath My Wings!"
