Today [8]

Gutted

Today started much like any other Monday, day off for me, that was until the postman brought the dreaded letter ive felt was coming for a while. REDUNDANT EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. Furious doesn't even cut it. I'm a chef by trade and have run a small Bistro in Town since it was built 7 years ago.I know its been struggling of late (like a lot of people are in this countries current state) but some heads up would have been nice rather than a letter in the post saying not to come back were closing.

That sucks Danny. Losing your job is bad enough, but someone not having the decency to tell you face to face is worse. Sorry to hear that

Thanks for the positivity marsmimar, like you say these things have a way of working themselves out although it doesn't feel much like that at present. Going to use this time positively and spend extra time with the children and wife and see how things pan out.
