Today I made the grave mistake of walking around in high heels for about two hours after wearing my comfy sneakers for three weeks...My feet are not at all pleased.

That is one of the reasons I'm glad I was born a guy....they don't look like they would be comfortable at all to walk in. :)

Well,thank goodness you weren't born, for instance, during the 17th century ;-) The French noblemen used to wear heels.

They're also really good when you want to bestow a particularly painful kick on someone

That sounds extremely painful, Dennis! But maybe Panais (since those are his heels) can give you a foot rub with some pistachio foot cream!

Today, shod with the same high heels as yesterday, I discovered that my footwear is very good for accompanying the beat of a particularly rhythmic song - tap tap tap tap tap tap. Fortunately, everyone else in the computer room was wearing headphones and could not hear the clacking from my corner
PS: Just discovered a garden lizard scuttling around the computer room...again!
