| | Monitor & Log Broadband Speed Does anybody know of a way I can automatically monitor and record a log of downstream/upstream broadband speeds? Lately my ISP has been providing really crappy speeds -- it drops like a stone every evening and doesn't fully recover until the wee hours. I'm talking about download speeds in the hundreds of kbps instead of the usual 5+ Mbps!  I would like to find some way of testing & recording broadband speeds at set intervals... I want to assemble a log showing how bad this service gets every day. |

| | Right click on "My Computer" and click on "Manage." Next click on "Monitoring Tools" (on the left hand side) and then click on "Proformance Monitor." Now you will see a + on the top. Now just add what ever you want to monitor. |

| | Also if you are good with batch files you can get very creative to create a log for network logging. Let me look in my batch file folder and I let you know if I have one that does that. |
