    Is Windows 8 Legit?


    Is windows 8 really out as a beta? I keep hearing mixed things that its just windows 7...

    Is it out in an extreme beta, maybe even an alpha form, yes, it is out. Is it legit? No, it's been leaked. There is no public beta period, and probably won't be for a while.

    Latest press report in WSJ say MS is developing it to work on tablets which have cost them 1% of their OS market share this past year.

    It's real and it's 'there' but only pre-beta.

Is Windows Defender Legit?

I was using my computer (not this one) and got a warning from Windows Defender that I was subject to virus. I clicked to remove and they wanted something like $79 for Security Plus. Is this BS? The Windows Defender now locks up my system with constant warnings and I cannot stop the pop up warnings....
