Windows 7: Interesting Processor IPS data

Interesting Processor IPS data

In particular, I noticed this in the data:

Intel Core i7 920 - 82,300 MIPS at 2.66 (Turbo 2.93) GHz
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T - 78,440 MIPS at 3.3 GHz

Both of those processors cost roughly the same... but the i7 920 is listed as being faster in terms of instructions per second despite having two less cores AND significantly lower clock speed.

...and before you mention information reliability, it IS cited on these two CPUs.

Also, assuming this data is accurate, then my O.C.ed i7 would be able to perform
3 440 000 000 Hz * 30.1 IPS / clock cycle = 103 544 000 000 IPS

103,544,000,000 instructions per second.
