    HP leaving mobile market

They are dumping tablets, mobile phones, and most likely selling off their pc business. They want to be IBM apparently.

HP does what IBM did with Lenovo. I think it's a good move.

HP should leave the computer market and the printer market IMHO. Their products are not reliable.

Might be a good time to buy into HP stock. Massive plumit in revenue and profitability reported through the end of this year.

HP is buying a software company for several billion, this will either make or break the future of HP. quite a gamble.

Sounds like options might be a good plan. I'm not sorry to see HP go, my last laptop was a 2000 dollar brick after THEY told me to flash the BIOS.

I worked for HP for a little over 5 years before I was laid off in 2006. They have some nice products in certain areas, but they aren't what they used to be. The laptops are fine, they just need to be wiped to remove the insane amount of bloat that ships with the systems.

An interesting view why webOS had to die

HP killed the webOS a few days ago and raised a lot of eyebrows in the market. This is an interesting view of the background and the reasoning:

With Honeycomb and iOS increasing demand, HP had no choice but to kill webOS.
