DVD Home Player (not PC device) playing DVD's slowly

Hi there people... I didn't find other pace to post this... so I thought here could be a better place.

I have a home DVD for everything you may want to do... play DVD's on my TV... it's not a PC device, this is the DVD player you buy separately so you connect it to your TV and watch movies...

Recently, the DVD's are playing weird, they play slowwly, as if it load a set of frames, stop, and then plays another couple and so on... I opened the device and the laser seems fine... I don't really think that the processor used on this things can get problems... but I'm unsure what's the problem or if I can be able to figure out the issue.

If you got any advice... I'll be really thankful guys. The DVD player is a Mirage DVD-8000C... the chips and motherboard come from Sunplus... but the info provided don't seems to be anough for my problem.

Thanks in advance guys

See ya!!!
