    People who get malware get mugged more often.


    This is an interesting study into this idea and it actually supports my general theory that lack of commonsense is a persistent and debilitating condition.

    Our Lifehacker AU comrades point out this interesting fact from Norton's latest Cybercrime report: People who fall victim to malware are statistically more likely to be mugged in real life too. Interesting.

    Interesting, indeed. It doesn't hold much water though (which the article itself alludes to) because you can be overly cautious in either of the given circumstances and be a completely mindless drone in the other. Alternatively, like myself, you could open yourself up to Malware until there's something worth being cautious about.

    Like the credit info I have at a bunch of e-tailers I shop at.
