To whom it may concern,

Effective (Put your last day) I hereby tender my resignation.

I have decided to prioritize my goals in my education and career as a defender of the state. This was not an easy decision and it took a lot of consideration, but I believe this is necessary for my advancement in life.

Thank you for accepting me a part of your team and wish you the very best.

Sincerely,

Just make it short and to the point.

Thanks for all the input guys. I revised my letter according to what smarteyeball wrote (I didn't get to read the other replies after that since I went to work already >_<), and I think it went pretty well. Our HR manager even wanted to introduced me to one of our bigger store's HR Manager. I don't know what's that for but she gave me some advice about school and thanked me for being very professional.

They said I could always come back should I need to. :>

P.S. I think I should've wrote what jfar said XD XD XD

It's a good sign if ever you want to go back.

If you do want to go back, leaving on good terms makes it so much easier.

Anyway, good luck with your studies.

Can someone critique my letter?
Hi guys! XD I'm writing a letter to our dean because of matters you'll find out when you read the letter. While I was told that the dean is not known to turn down these kinds of requests, ever, I just want to be sure. Are there any mistakes here that I should brush out? Lots of thanks!

Startup programs critique
I know I can get rid of a few more programs at startup; MaxMenuMgr, AdobeARM, SunJavaUpdateSched and probably all the HP related ones. Start up time isn't bad and since things are working good I'm a bit hesitant to make changes but thought I would get some opinions on what can be disabled. ...
