Hey guys and girls..
I recently acquired an older iPhone from my friend (the iPhone 3G from AT&T). Now, a couple of years ago I had 2 friends with the same iPhone from AT&T and they had it jailbroken, unlocked, and running off of the Verizon network. They were only able to get the phone service from Verizon (as in talk and text only with no internet service).
My question is how the heck did they do it?! I have mine jailbroken and unlocked, I have an activated Verizon Wireless SIM card, I know the whole CDMA vs. GSM deal but I also know for a fact that it has worked before with minimal usage (aka no data). Does anyone here know how to go about this at all? I am so close I can taste it and its driving me crazyy.
Thanks everyone!
Matt
