The Lion King (1994) - IMDb

What similarities are there? lol I have never come across any.

Star Trek (2009) - IMDb

8.5/10

I've watched it like 4 times now (DVD).

For what I THOUGHT this movie would be, I was really surprised that I like it.
Being into TNG and the original series movies, I was ready to be let down.

I just saw several of the new nominated films:
Les Miserables --- Loved it --- and I thought it was much better than some of the critics had said it was.
Lincoln --- Didn't care for it --- but that was just me, I'm not really into Civil War films. (I did recognize the quality of the film, tho.)
Life of Pi --- Very strangely good, and fantastically interesting.
Silver Linings Playbook -- Didn't really want to see it when I read the synopsis, but it was a very enjoyable film. Very quirky!
Beasts of the Southern Wild -- Wow. Didn't see that one coming. You'll either love it or hate it.

Nice!

Recently, I have watched Ted, LotR Extended Versions, and Stargate. That is a movie that never gets old!
