Cloud Atlas
For the first 50 min the movie seemed like it was jumping all over the place. You need to stick with it for the full 2 hrs 50min. Then I think the IMDB 7.7 rating was fair.

I never saw the first Despicable Me, but the trailers for this new one looked quite funny.
