Oh jeez! And here I thought the trip to Oz was just a dream that Dorothy was having. . .
I thought the author had a bad trip like Lewis Carroll.

Maybe Dorothy and Alice become BFF's and hang on Spaced Book.

    127 Hours (2010) - IMDb

    8.5/10

What he did to survive was remarkable. If that had happened to me I'd be dead.

    Drive (2011) - IMDb
    8/10

Interesting movie, not what I expected after seeing the previews. Some very graphic, brutal, violent scenes. Actually saw one older couple get up and walk out during one of those scenes.

    Ironman 2 8/10
"Artistic license", difference between the book (silver shoes) and the movie (ruby slippers).

Just finished watching The Crew on Netflix a couple of minutes ago.
    The Crew (2008) - IMDb
I give it an 8/10. It's an English gangster type movie with quite a few topless women in it.
I just happened to notice the guy from Snatch on the cover art while browsing Netflix this morning and started watching it.

    Battle: Los Angeles ****

Semi documentary style. Very realistic considering an alien invasion.

Similar but not quite as good as Blackhawk Down. A 5 star movie.

Better by far than Transformers- any of them.

Real weapons. No laser guns or robots for our side.

Of course we win but it is ingenuity and determination not our "special weapons" or turning their weapons on them by some miracle as in Independence Day.

    P.S.
This is better than Iron Man 2 and I like both Iron Mans. I will see IM 3 when it comes out.
Battle: Los Angeles is a very good stand alone story.
