Stay (2005, Ryan Gosling and Ewan McGregor).
I'm a big fan of Ryan Gosling, so perhaps that tinted my view of it a bit, but I found it to be a really interesting film. If you don't understand the film after watching it, there are some spoiler websites which explain the plot; I found this helpful as it made me appreciate the film more, but obviously don't go looking for the spoilers until you've seen the film :)
