    Stupid thing I did today....

Ok so I just put a full cup of coffee down carlessly and spilt over my keyboard. Which is now drained and wiped and back in action! Luckily I only stripped it and vacuumed it out a few days ago or it would be a real mess!

Still it could have been worse, as the cup only wobbled over - it landed like this:

Hey at least I got to drink half a cup!

NB Apologies for the picture quality, theres one of those blackberry things lying around so i just used that.

You were lucky there, one reason I always have the keyboard pushed underneath when no in use, plus my coffee cup is usually over to the side away from trouble.

I think my previous keyboard had drank a pot of coffee, thirsty for another cup after each cleaning but still works like a trooper. However the new illuminated one is still enjoying a stint at coffee-holics anonymous.

About 20 years ago my brother-in-law spilled an orange soda on my keyboard. I cleaned it up and dried it out and that keyboard still works great today.

This is a classic literal visualisation of the adage "Cup half full or Cup half empty" :)
