Uars

Is anyone looked at the tracking map for the dead satt (from N2YO.com)? Why is the orbit path like a sine wave. It seems the orbit is three dimensional instead of just a flat orbit.

The object is an odd shape and is in a tumble...this is why their predictions of where it will come down are not very accurate.

The sinus wave is I think a result of trying to show the path of a object moving over another object, which itself is moving in a different plane, both in three dimensions, on a two dimensional map

Either that or it's a bit wobbly

Both Correct

Barman, I believe you are right on both counts. They are not sure when or where it landed. Is this the same group tracking our near earth objects? Ruh-Oh!!!!
