Win 7 Won't stop! Damn it! Windows 7 just keeps running and running and running!
I mean... I could shut down the computer and Windows would
stop of course, and I have done that!
But you know... The darndest thing, I turn the machine back
on again and there it is, Windows, right back up there and
running again.
And it comes up fast too, barely any waiting around for it to
come up. Is this normal? Is this good?
Why do you keep running Windows 7? Why!!!
Are aliens keeping it from stopping? | My System Specs |

Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of SevenForums 4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. 5. Admitted to SevenForums, to ourselves, and to other geeks and gurus the exact nature of our wrongs. 6. Were entirely ready to have BSOD remove all these defects of character. 7. Humbly asked Microsoft to remove our shortcomings. 8. Made a list of all CPU`s we had harmed, systems we had hacked and applications we had cracked, and became willing to makeamends to them all. 9. Made direct amends to such operating systems wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or the computer they are running on. 10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it. 11. Sought through coding and hacking to improve our conscious contact with Windows7, praying only for knowledge of its will for us and the power to carry that out. 12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to other SevenForums members and windoholics, to all geeks old and young, and to practice these principles in all our affairs. | My System Specs | | Computer type Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number HP ENVY 17-1150eg OS Windows 7 x64 Ultimate CPU 1.6 GHz Intel Core i7-720QM Processor Memory 6 GB Graphics Card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850 Graphics Sound Card Beats sound system with integrated subwoofer Monitor(s) Displays 17" laptop display, 22" LCD and 32" Full HD TV through HDMI Screen Resolution 1600*900, 1680*1050 and 1920*1080 Keyboard Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Laser (bluetooth) Mouse Logitech MX1000 Laser (Bluetooth) Hard Drives Internal: 2 x 500 GB SATA Hard Disk Drive 7200 rpm
