A great choice Bill.

One of my favourite Enya tracks is Caribbean Blue. The video is by the BBC Wildlife team.

Very interesting, and it does sound fine, I've run into her before but I'm not too keen on female vocals. The music doesn't really hit the spot for me.

The OP might like to look at the works of Klaus Schulze, Bruno Heuze, Bernd Kistenmacher and Rudiger Lorenz amongst the many other synthesizer enthusiasts. They are still on tape in my collection so don't get played much these days.
I looked over those artists, and they're not what I'm looking for. The music is too "electronic".

This sounds very nice, this is a great game by the way. Seriously, you must've at least played it or heard of it on PlayStation 2. Such good times...

Also, here's one of my favorite artists.

I can't argue with that - some of Lorenz and Heuze is more listenable. I basically got loads of tapes from a friend so haven't followed any of those musicians closely.

My playlist currently consists mostly of Blowzabella, Dead Can Dance, early Steeleye Span, Pentangle, the Bothy Band, Planxty, Chieftains, Kronos Quartet, the Stranglers, the Doors, Dylan, the Nice, Van Der Graaf Generator, Pink Floyd, early Strawbs, Bonzo Dog, Fairport Convention, Barclay James Harvest etc. with a sprinkling of others and recent stuff to keep me partially living in the present. There are a few female singers in there - Lily Allen, Alizee, Joni Mitchell, Emer Kenny and others but as you can guess I prefer music to singing.

ps what's a playstation?

Not exactly, wasn't born in the United States, but I've played many games. It's just PlayStation was a major success in its day, I can recall some fantastic games that rival modern ones.

I was kidding, very difficult to avoid knowing about them unless one is 90+ and I have a few decades on that.

Found this, and I don't particularly like Madonna.

At least I've now learnt how to embed vids.

If I had to die listening to some music then Blowzabella would be it.

Lol, at least it's not a requirement of life that we must enjoy what another does. I must admit over the years I have missed a vast amount of music but there are few times when you instantly love something from the first time you hear it. Bach's organ works, Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, Blowzabella and Dead Can Dance have been such moments - along with Dylan, King Crimson, the Chieftains and Billie Holiday.
