I un-installed WinPatrol (Plus? Pro? yeah I paid) last spring after switching to Comodo Internet Security Premium but I still subscribe to Bill's RSS feed and yes he's a good guy, and I wish him well.

I can imagine thought that like a lot of shareware authors, he grows weary of support, support, support, and endless updates and hopes to find a way out.

Congrats "A Guy" on your 15,000 post! Geez only a year and a half--you do this full-time???

Winpatrol has been a nice and very useful product. From my past experiance when ever a software changes hand it usually started to go downhill i sincerely hope this does not happen to winpatrol.

Winpatrol and UAC
Once again the dreaded UAC problem. I can't stop WinPatrolEx always asks for permission to run unless I turn off UAC. As UAC seems to be global I, how do I get rid of the UAC 'nag' for a specific program? Clearly its whole object is defeated if I turn it off globally so is it really any use?. I've...
