Whats your interpretation of this term?

    For a business with such important data at stake, you'd think there would be very clear, concise and unchanging wording for tasks. Not something left to the interpretation (especially when we all agree that as worded, you did what was written). A Guy

    I agree it means WIPE and INSTALL, however I have been doing this for a long long time and even when I am told to WIPE and INSTALL I make a backup first. I cannot count the times someone comes back and says were is all my data, and I reply with "You said WIPE the drive and INSTALL the OS fresh, when you do that the data is lost and we assume you have backed it up." After they sweat for a while I tell them I make backups for just this very reason. -WS
