Windows 9 Folks, there are already a few Windows 9 threads going, and I thought that I'd add one here. Windows 9
An obscure blogger claims that he saw a secret Microsoft roadmap, showing that Windows 9 would be released in late 2014. He shows actual scheduled technology conferences that will be used to show betas and pre-release versions.
He's probably making the whole thing up, but his schedule is an interesting source of speculation. But this one isn't speculation: Windows 9 will not have a 32 bit version. Period. Microsoft warned developers three years ago that in another six years they would drop 32 bit completely. As of now, NO company is manufacturing 32 bit hardware. | My System Specs |

i think Microsoft will not choose same names and numbers again and again and it wont be like Windows 9, 10, 11 and so on... they would choose a different name instead after Windows 8.. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Waiting for Haswell Motherboard Waiting for Haswell Memory G.Skill Ripjaws X 2x 2GB DDR3 1333 CL7 Graphics Card Will be next after Haswell Sound Card Built-In Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 933BW Plus Screen Resolution 1440x900 Keyboard A4Tech X7 G800 Mouse A4Tech X7 XL-747h + X7 801 Mouse Pad PSU Cooler Master GX-550w 80 Plus Bronze Case Cooler Master Elite 430 Black Cooling Waiting for Haswell Hard Drives Will buy after getting upcoming Haswell Internet Speed 4MB Cable Broadband Other Info Lamptron FC-5 V2 Fan Controller | Lamptron Dual CCFL Kit (Blue) | Liteon iHAS 322-07B DVD-RW | Xigmatek XLF-F1253 | CM 2x 120mm's | SVC 1.2KVA Off-line UPS |

You're probably right. MS is usually working at least two OSs in advance. They had begun work and even had full-time employees for Windows 8 before 7 was released. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Home Basic, 64 bit CPU dual core, Athlon 2; 3.4 gigahertz Memory 4 gigabytes Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 5400 Series Sound Card AMD High Definitin Audio Device Monitor(s) Displays Generic PnP Monitor Keyboard Standard PS/2 Keyboard Hard Drives ST350041 3AS SCSI Disk Device Other Info Assembled in a Mexican computer store |

Latest rumor: a blogger claiming inside information has posted that the next XBox will have a Windows 9 core. The truth? There is a lot of speculation that MS wants all their systems to have the same OS, as Apple already does. My opinion? An educated guess that is probably correct.
