GRRR badger angry at royal mail!

ordered myself an NZXT phantom case and corsair HX650w psu.

paid extra delivery so it would be here today (tuesday) as its my only day off.

Both were from the same company, but sent in 2 different boxes.

Knock on the door, with a delivery driver with 1 box... despite it saying on label 1/2...

I ring royal mail... "oh we are sorry it missed the lorry"

me: "erm its a massive box that weighs about 12kg... hard to miss"

"sorry sir we can redeliver tomorrow"

"i didnt pay £££ to have it specified to be delivered today for any other reason than it had to be here today"

"it will be with you tomorrow"

"Nobody is in tomorrow hence me making a fuss..."

gah!!!! so i currently have a nice new psu.. and no case to stick it in..

Thank stinks. And is the reason that I really love having local stores that sell this stuff. It's so disappointing that everything is going online. I'm inpatient and don't like to wait for the delivery.

    i always buy from ebuyer.com

you can order up to 11pm at night and still get the goods the next day.
First time ive ever been let down, as i too am very inpatient lol

Of course it's not the fault of the online stores, but the postal service.
Businesses wouldn't be guaranteeing their shipping times if the postal service didn't guarantee the same thing to them.

Wow, that's tough. Maybe you should complain... In fact, you should definitely complain.

Well after telling royal mail they are crap and demanding it be sent to another address despite it being against the law under some "interfering with the queens mail" I managed to get it re delivered to my work :)

Soo I now have my new case waiting for me to finish work

I got a partial refund from ebuyer, which I said wasn't necessary as it isn't their fault, but it was only £2. The difference between 24 hour and 48 hour delivery lol

That's a big plus for eBuyer to do that. Glad you got your way with the mail folks. (The Queen would probably be impressed...if not amused. )
