IMHO, I look at posts and then look at the quality of those posts.

Quantity is not always Quality.

fair comment but the medals are for rep received not post count, so the multiple medal holders are doing a very good job it would seem.
well done guys.

Good comment in a very odd, wrong place. We are congratulating Derek because of the medal he has got as a symbol of the quality of his posts, help he has given. Rep, thus medals, is earned by helping, not by post count.

I can understand if you do feel you do not want to congratulate Derek or someone else. For instance I have deliberately stopped posting my congratulations after every "Look! I got a light green or yellow turd!", saving my sincere congratulations for medals which I see as real achievements, rewards of hard work and willingness to help.

Once again, Derek, congratulations on your new medal. You are one of those geeks here who really makes Seven Forums the place it is, number 1 Windows forums on the net, my virtual home.

Very serious, very sincere, with utmost respect,

Kari

Thank you Kari, I wasn't sure the best way to respond to that one so I didn't.

You on the other hand found the perfect words as usual, speaking what most of us feel.

Your congrats and respect are sincerely appreciated, and returned my friend.

Thank you.
